As Casa di Saporé began regaining popularity thanks to Reyna’s leadership and Renzo’s inspired cooking, their revival didn’t go unnoticed. Across the street, Chef Pulpatine and the staff at Le Château de Velouté started to feel the pressure.

Julienne, still working within Le Château’s kitchen, saw Casa’s comeback as a threat to everything he and Pulpatine had built using the stolen recipes. Alongside Le Château’s front of house managers, he devised a plan to shut Casa down.

Paying off a health inspector to stage a surprise inspection during Casa’s busiest prep time. The inspector found minor, exaggerated infractions and swiftly issued a shutdown notice. Casa was forced to close for the entire weekend, its busiest days, losing valuable revenue and momentum.

As the staff stood stunned outside their shuttered doors, Renzo realized this wasn’t just bad luck.
